9 years working as a clinical psychotherapist
My expertise as an MSc Integrative Psychotherapist is the re-integration of our thoughts and feelings to bring emotional relief and heal trauma. I deeply understand the psychological processes of identity and change that bring profound life transformations for the better.
I offer a consistent, supportive partnership where your struggles are truly seen and validated.
You are here because something is calling you to have a new experience, to find a solution. That's what I offer, and therapy really is: a new experience, not alone but with someone to re-write your thoughts, beliefs and behaviors, which heals the emotional struggles and offers relief.
True transformation, the felt sense of belonging, happens when we can safely integrate our story and our body together.
My experience in complex, high-demand settings taught me what actually creates lasting change. The wisdom of the body. The most profound knowledge comes from the inside out. Your body, sensations, thoughts and emotions are a map to healing. I integrate this through embodiment, creativity, and parts work: all trauma-informed, to keep the work safe and deep.
Every person is worthy of respect. I recognise the emotional pain caused by racism, oppression, and cultural conditioning, and I'm actively engaged in facing both the external and internal forms of that oppression myself, trained with Education for Racial Equity.
I work in English (US) and Brazilian Portugese. I work online worldwide, with clients across South London (Brixton, Balham, Clapham, Battersea) as well as internationally. Get in touch to find out more about me.
About you
You want something different. A change. You might already know, intellectually, what that change is, but something in you is still confused, or it's painful to face alone. Fear tells you there's no choice. It makes you feel stuck, and it makes you feel alone.
Therapy is the place that turns confusion into discernment, and discernment into relief.
I work with people who are:
-
Smart, capable, successful, but missing joy, fun, or real connection
-
International, multilingual, or living far from where they were born
-
Carrying family patterns they didn't choose and are ready to update
-
New to therapy and unsure where to start
-
Portuguese or English speakers who want to work in their own language
If any of that sounds like you, I'd like to hear what's bringing you here.
